Poppy Seed Extract

Standardized extract rich in linoleic acid (69-85%), as well as oleic and palmitic acid. It prevents lipogenesis by reducing the activity of G3PDH (glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase), an enzyme that catalyzes the transformation of free fatty acids + glucose into triglycerides in adipocytes. It increases the transformation of triglycerides into free fatty acids + glycerol and their release outside of adipocytes, increasing lipolysis; as a consequence of these processes, adipocyte size is markedly decreased.
